like you care Monday

So I'm looking for a new place to live.

Remember how a couple months ago I said moving was high on the list of horrible human experiences? Well, looking for the place you're going to move is even higher.

I decided to rule out all studio apartments, even though I COULD TOTALLY DO IT. Just kidding, no I couldn't. The idea that for like 2.5 seconds I thought I could, is laughable. My friends and family must know me better than I know myself because when I floated the idea past a few of them, I got zero affirmative responses and 100 percent of people told me there's no way I could do that. Then I remembered that I have two TVs, and where would the other TV go? So they were right.

Anyway, looking for an affordable non-horrible place to live is almost impossible these days. Plus, I'm starting to think people don't really want to rent these places. If they did they would post informative pictures of the listing and give valid contact info. Maybe they might even call or e-mail me back when I express interest. But no. Nobody does that. It's pretty mind-bottling.

What does all this mean for you? Nothing. Except that in about one month you can expect a lot more moving complaints since that's what I'll be doing. Moving. Again.

Like you care.

  1. Mind-bottling? as in, they bottle minds? perhaps you meant mind-boggling (as is the common expression). Just a thought.
