you're still going to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn with me right?

So, my best friend is pregnant.  It's out there now.  She really is pregnant; I've seen the fetus (not in a weird way).  So I thought it might be time to tell you about it.  (UPDATE: I added pics from the ultrasound session.  Scroll down to see the lil' mama.)

When Shan first told me a few months ago that she was pregnant, my first reaction was: "You're still going to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn with me right?"   Priorities.

I have the best bestie in the whole world.  If you're thinking, "No, I do," then you're wrong.  I love her more than I love looking at pictures of Ryan Gosling.  And that's a lot.

Today we found out that she is GOING TO HAVE A GIRL.
Commence happy dance and trip to Baby Gap to buy all the things.

hot mama!!

 big screen baby

I know Ronnie's face is totally blurry but for some reason I still just love this

looking at her little girl.  obsessed with this pic.

Do you know how freaky it is when your friends start having children?  Like, by choice??  First it was Laura, now Shannon.  I can't take it.  In my mind we're still in college doing dumb college things.  Not pushing children out of our tchotch.

Anyway, YAAAAAAAAY for Shannon and Ronnie.  If you name your daughter Elena I might have to rethink this whole friendship thing.  KIDDING.  Kind of.

  1. How you ever questioned my seeing breaking dawn with you is outrageous. Do you know me at all? I'm already trying to figure out how I'm going to cart a 6 month old around Forks for part 2.

BTW, I'm having a kid. So weird.

Thanks again for coming down this weekend for a 15 minute ultrasound. I miss you so much and it's such a blessing to spend even a few short days with you. I'm so glad I have you for a bestie!
